目前研究方向

Ø 木質纖維素溶解前處理及其醣化發酵:

用離子溶液等綠色溶劑溶解破壞纖維素及木質纖維素之結晶度,以提高酵素醣化速率及收率,增進微生物發酵利用木質纖維素生產酒精之效率。

Ø 纖維素、几丁質之奈米纖維化及其生物複合材料之應用:

以微生物發酵、化學氧化、高壓均質等方法製備纖維素及几丁質之奈米纖維,並以此生物奈米纖維為基材,在水熱條件下還原掺混入奈米金屬及碳粒子,成為具功能性之生物複合材料。

Ø 抗污、抗菌及體內可分解生醫材料:

以點擊化學等簡易方法在材料表面修飾上抗污之PEG及PVP,應用於蛋白質及細胞之薄膜過濾。氧化纖維素製備具抗菌功能之體內可分解止血性織物。

Ø 磁性奈米粒之生物分離、純化及檢測應用:

水熱法製備表面氨化之奈米磁性粒子,以利共價接附親合性配體或酵素,進行快速蛋白質純化及HbA1c之檢測。
